On Saturday, July 18, more than 20 local businesses and organizations will gather at Blacksburg Boxing & Fitness to share information, answer questions, and introduce visitors to health, wellness, and fitness resources available throughout the New River Valley.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend.
Rather than visiting multiple businesses around town, families can spend a couple of hours meeting local professionals in one place. From fitness and nutrition to dental care, chiropractic services, yoga, recreation, and other wellness providers, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn about programs and services offered close to home.
Visitors can also browse vendor booths, enter giveaways, and take advantage of special offers from participating businesses.
One extra perk? Hokie House Sub Shop will be serving free subs while supplies last, making it easy to grab lunch while you're there.
The Summer Health Fair is designed to welcome everyone, whether you're looking for a new workout routine, trying to connect with local resources, or simply looking for a free way to spend part of your Saturday with the family.
